A Visit with Dr. Amy (18 month check-up)

For her 18-month appointment Charlotte was very excited to see Dr. Amy. She had been in a few weeks prior for a bad case of sinusitis and the thing that stood out the most was when Dr. Amy let her listen to her belly button with the stethoscope. Anytime we mentioned the doctor she would screech "Doctah Ameee" and proceed to pull up her shirt and say "but-ton."










The day of her 18-month appointment was made even more exciting by her remembering that there were real fish in the fish tank,


























that there was a big playship outside to climb on,

























that she got to wear a fun gown,play peek-a-boo,















play with the stethoscope



















and that she got to see Dr. AMY!

She almost didn't mind the two shots she got from nurse Erica.

She is continuing to grow on schedule and is meeting all of her developmental milestones. She currently measures 34 inches (95th) and weighs 26 pounds, 11.5 ounces (75th). Nurse E accidentally wrote 21st percentile for weight...for a moment I was worried we were under feeding our little girl, but Dr. A set us right - whew (I was trying to figure out how she could possible fit MORE food into that little body of hers!).
