Charlotte's Web

When I came home from work yesterday I noticed Charlotte was very wrapped up in something that was taking all of her concentration.

Here is an adorable picture of Charlotte in her first pair of flip-flops! Everyone I know (especially in California) lives in their flip-flops. I wear mine everywhere I can. Charlotte inherited a pair of sparkly flip flops and has recently been fascinated with them. Since her feet have been growing at an exponential rate and all of her really nice sandals no longer fit we let her try to wear these out one day.

Grammie decided to gift Charlotte some swim lessons for her birthday. Dada does swimming with Charlotte, but we signed up for ones that I would be able to come and watch. On our first lesson we all went together and Charlotte and Dada were all ready, as the teacher introduced herself she told Dada he could wait in the parents area for her! Dada was a little surprised (and sad) that he wasn't part of the lesson. We weren't sure how Charlotte would do with someone else in the water but she did great! She splashed and jumped and went under the water and even played under the mushroom waterfall. We love watching how she is growing up!

Well, we made it!

Wow, this post is going to encompass a large period of time. Since the last post we have up and moved over 2,700 miles across the country. It takes quite a lot to move and moving with a toddler is near impossible. But thanks to all of our friends and family (on both ends) we were able to make it safely and sanely (mostly) to our final destination. Here is a recap of our last month in California, with pictures! (I apologize that the majority were taken with my phone):

Easter weekend was a lot of fun.

Now that we are for sure leaving the San Francisco Bay are we decided we might actually take some time to explore it.
