Month 8 - From Da-Da to Ga-Ga
Submitted by Sharon on Wed, 04/22/2009 - 11:28| From Month 8 |
Charlotte has been changing so quickly lately that I thought it warranted a mid-month post! And it did, but, that goal was a bit too lofty for me. Heck, I'm lucky if I get a post up before the next month is due! Please click READ MORE to hear more about Charlotte's 8th month of life.

This month Charlotte has really impressed us with her skills. She is very, very active, to say the least and very inquisitive. Click "READ MORE" to hear about her 7th month and see pictures.
Whoa! Baby Standing in the Crib!
Submitted by Charlotte on Thu, 03/19/2009 - 09:08This morning I put Charlotte in her crib for her late morning nap. After a few minutes I realized it was much quieter than usual so I opened the website to view the live webcam (we use this as a baby monitor within our home). I was alarmed to see NO BABY IN THE CRIB!!! What the heck?? When I got to the room I saw why - the camera was centered on the middle of the crib and Charlotte, who was standing at the end facing the door, was out of the cameras view! I sat her back down and recorded this video of her doing it for the second time.

Road Trip
Submitted by Sharon on Fri, 02/13/2009 - 11:19At the beginning of February we took a road trip down to L.A. to visit family, and see the Buffalo Sabres play the Anaheim Ducks. It turned out to be a great long weekend of catching up and hanging out; Charlotte also got to go to her first Super Bowl Party! Click "READ MORE" to hear about our trip and see more pictures.
The most adorable thing . . .
Submitted by Sharon on Fri, 01/23/2009 - 09:52Yesterday morning I had this great moment with Charlotte. We had just finished nursing and we were smiling and cuddling with eachother. I started giving her a little raspberry on each of her cheeks, which elicited nice giggles. After a few set she started reaching for my face in a very concentrated fashion, put her mouth to my cheek and reciprocated!!! I assumed she was just trying to get my chin or nose but I was blown away when I realized she was giving ME a rasberry! I love watching her personality develop eachday.
